KASK SERIES TECHNICAL DETAILS
SUPERPLASMA
The Superplasma range includes three helmet models that are compliant to different European safety standards: Superplasma AQ to EN 397 for industrial helmets, Superplasma PL to EN 12492 for climbing and mountaineering, and Superplasma HP to EN 14052 for high performance in high-risk environments. The models are also easily identifiable by the buckle colors: orange for helmets conforming to EN 397 and EN 14052 and green for those conforming to EN 12492. The three models are also available in high- visibility colors.
The external shell is made of high-density polypropylene for the Superplasma AQ and PL versions, and of ABS for the HP versions. These materials guarantee impact resistance, high penetration protection and resistance to color degradation.
The internal shell made of high-density expanded polystyrene ensures all-around impact absorption. The removable inner padding, in quick-drying fabric with moisture-wicking technology, ensures breathability thanks to the helmet's ten air intakes that maximise internal airflow, ensuring extreme comfort all day long.
The chinstrap offers a personalized fit with 3 adjustment points while two different size adjustment systems guarantee maximum stability. Superplasma AQ and Superplasma HP new Quick Fit system is fast and easy to use thanks to a large-diameter adjustment wheel, while the Superplasma PL is equipped with the Up & Down system. This technology features two ergonomically shaped wings that cradle the back of the neck for an easy and secure fit.
Like all KASK helmet collections, Superplasma can also be accessorized with KASK eye, face, and hearing protections, as well as headlamps and badge holders, thus guaranteeing a wide range of configurations and allowing for easy customisation.

PRIMERO
The Primero series is the results of the holistic KASK commitment to safety, comfort and design.
Primero helmets are available in vented (Primero Air) and closed shell and in a variety of colors – including the popular Hi-Viz Fluo options.
Safety is ensured thanks to a High Density Polypropylene external shell that decreases the helmet weight while increasing its protective abilities – great impact resistance and high penetration protection. The High Density Expanded Polystyrene inner shell guarantees all-around high impact energy absorption and improved comfort.
Exceptional wearer comfort is provided by an inner padding made of a quick-drying fabric with moisture- wicking technology that accelerates the dispersion of sweat to the surface of the helmet padding for keeping workers cool and dry. It can be easily removed or replaced via a patented Click-In system.
Moreover, Primero Air is designed with internal channels for enhanced breathability and with 14 air intakes shaped to prevent debris entry.
In addition, the Ergo Fit System allows for an easy and secure fit by turning the large diameter dial. The system moves up and down to adapt to a range of head shapes and the ergonomically shaped wings cradle the back of the neck for a secure fit. An advanced chinstrap with 5 adjustment points ensures a personalized fit and accommodates wider head sizes and adapts to earmuff use.
As with all KASK helmets, the Primero features a number of additional design elements that enhance the wearer experience. It is designed with integrated slots for easy mounting of KASK eye, face and hearing protection accessories and with front attachment point for advanced customization and easy integration of accessories such as badge holders and headlamps.
The Primero series is compliant with the European safety standards for industrial helmets EN 397, EN 50365 and standard for mountaineers helmets EN 12492; with the American National Standard for Industrial Head Protection ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 and the other with the Canadian standard for Industrial Protective Headwear CSA Z94.1-15.

ZENITH X
The Zenith X Series was the results of the continual KASK challenge to rethink what is possible for safety helmets.
Safety is ensured with implementation of the outer shell materials that decreases the helmet weight while increasing its protective abilities – even at lower temperatures. The inner shell is comprised of 2 separated patented elements: a lightweight core, called D-Core Technology, and higher density outer cage, called HD Crown Protection – these provide greater all-around impact absorption while maintaining internal airflow.
Wearer comfort was improved with a patented, ratcheting mechanism – the Adaptive Fit System. The system provides a personalized fit for a wider range of head sizes and shapes, ensuring an all-day comfort. The system also features 2 new adjustment points and a large radial over-moulded dial that allow the wearers to make tailored fit adjustments even easier.
As with all KASK helmet, the new Zenith X features a number of additional design elements that enhance the wearer experience. An internal liner system has even greater moisture wicking capabilities and can be easily remover or replaced via a patented Click-In system. Additionally, Zenith X was designed to accept proven safety accessory components from previous Zenith helmets, allowing ease of upgrade without investing in new accessories or training.
The Zenith X Series is available with a closed shell for electrical risk applications and vented for non-electric shock application and in wide range of fade resistance hi-visibility and standard colors.
The Zenith X series is compliant with the European safety standards for industrial helmets EN 397, EN 50365 and standard for mountaineers helmets EN 12492; with the American National Standard for
Industrial Head Protection ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 and with Australian safety standard for industrial helmets AS/NZS 1801.

QUANTUM
When designing the Quantum, there was key consideration given for the wide parameters of use that a fire and rescue helmet operates within. This opened the door to the integration of not only a more performance-oriented, applications-based design, but also addresses more effectively the high-risk nature of emergency response. Quantum has been designed drawing upon proven KASK expertise in high- performance head protection from our cycling, snow sports, equestrian and industrial safety divisions.
Safety is ensured thanks to the external shell constructed from the polycarbonate/polybutylene terephthalate (PC/PBT) alloy blend that allows for higher impact resistance in a range of temperatures, higher heat and flame resistance and greater chemical resistance. The expanded polystyrene inner foam shell guarantees all around impact energy absorption and improved comfort. The EPS is covered with thermoformed polystyrene for increased durability and easier cleaning and decontamination.
Exceptional wearer comfort is provided by an inner padding in multilayered fabric with moisture winking technology and exceptionally soft textiles that enhances wearer comfort. It can be easily removed or replaced via a patented Click-In system.
In addition, the patented Adaptive Fit system adapts to head shapes to create a personalized, secure fit. Adjusting the large diameter dial allows the ergonomic side wings to cradle the back of the neck while the self-adjusting hinge moves up and down to keep the system in a comfortable and secure position that moves as the wearer moves. The fire-resistant acrylic chinstrap offers five side and rear adjustment points.
Quantum is available in a closed shell or Cabrio configuration with 14 vents for enhanced air-flow and cooling comfort for the wearer, with anti-intrusion metal mesh vent covers to prevent debris from entering the ventilation channels. Quantum Cabrio is also equipped with a sliding closure system.
As with all KASK helmets, Quantum features a number of additional design elements that enhance the wearer experience. It is designed with integrated slots for easy mounting of KASK eye, face, hearing and weather protection and with front attachment point for advanced customization and easy integration of accessories such as badge holders and headlamps.
The Quantum series is compliant with the European standards for wildland firefighting heImets (EN 16471), for technical rescue helmets (EN 16473) and the Quantum Cabrio also accounts for radial impact protection covered by the mountaineering helmets standard (EN 12492).
Quantum Series has been awarded with the iF Design Award 2023 for Design Excellence by iF International Forum Design.
